FLOWERS AND SOUVENIRS ALBUM TUTORIAL BY @OLAYA_TACONESCONGRACIA
Hello!!! I'm Olaya from the TaconesConGracia Blog ( http://taconescongracia.blogspot.com ) and today I come with a very special project made with the beautiful Jasmine collection from Gigi's Lab.
Our old DT Gigi buddy is really an artist, not only with her scrap projects, but also with the design of her collections. I have worked with all the collections that Gigi has been creating and I think that for me this is one of my favorites.
The Jasmine collection is full of flowers, incredible and timeless colors, absolutely versatile prints, great decorations... and it is absolutely easy to work with because it works for a spring, summer or fall project.
From my words you can imagine that I have really enjoyed working with the Jasmine collection!!
But we are going to leave the preambles and we are going to get down to work.
The first thing I've done has been an album (since I can't call it a mini album due to its large size).
For this I started with 2mm thick laminated cardboard, flower fabric and paper from the Jasmine collection and a ribbon that I had at home.
With these materials I have created a robust album, with a spine structure (it only has three spines) but with plenty of space to put volume, photographs, but above all many memories.
The pages of the album are made with smooth cardboard of a high grammage, to be able to withstand everything that I have been putting.
All these pages, full of tabs and pockets, are decorated with decorated papers, vellums, smooth cardboard and diecuts from the Gigi's Lab Jasmine collection. As accessories I have added some thread, a sun-shaped charm and pieces of wood.
Finally, and for the album to be preserved without any problem, I wanted to make a box for it, with 2mm thick laminated cardboard, a couple of papers from the Jasmine collection from Gigi's Lab and since I had almost no material left, I added paper to pack in color craft.
So that you can see the step by step of how I have made the structure of the album, how I organize myself with the photos and texts, how I distribute the decorations... I have prepared a video that I hope you like.
Thanks for visiting us!
