PUNCH BOARD PLANNER

This new tool allows us to include in our planners the element we want, separators, cards, photographs,... and thus personalize and make our agenda beautiful, or even make your agenda from scratch!

Currently on the market there are two types of heads, spiral and disc depending on the type of planner you have.

On the back of the punch board (which can also be removed), there is a table that will help us to make the holes correctly since it tells us, according to the planner, that we have the measure to which we have to cut the sheet and In what number should we place the heads.

As you can see there is a wide variety of planners!!

At this point it should be noted that the measurement they use to cut the sheets is not the inch that we usually use, it is "decimal inches" where they are divided into 10 parts as we do with cm.

At the time of cutting and although it seems somewhat strange, if for example we have to do it at 5.8, in the shear we would place the paper at the 5" mark and we would count the lines up to 8 (as if they were decimals).

In the front part is where the heads are placed, following the number that the table indicates, these are marked with a slot and where the center marks us.

With all these premises, it's time to start tinkering with it!! We tried it with Heidi Swapp 's small planner

- We place the four heads following the table, mark the middle of the paper, guide us by the center mark that the punch has to make them coincide and we punch all four at the same time.

We already have our new separator ready!!!

For now, we are very happy with it! We will continue tinkering and testing in different planners.

Like all tools, you have to turn them around a few times until you get the result you like and we can even come up with our own little tricks that help us so much.
