Oh! Naif en el CHA 2015

Oh! Naif at the CHA 2015

On January 8, part of the Oh! Naif traveled to Los Angeles (USA) to visit the CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) Mega Show 2015. Five intense days awaited us at the Anaheim Convention Center.

With our eyes wide open, we visited all the stands of the fair, we did not want to miss anything. The long journey was definitely worth it!

We had the first appointment at the Doodlebug Design stand, a wonderful Scrap brand of which we are distributors in Spain. The stand could not be more beautiful! In the usual colors of this house it seemed that we were inside a magical tale! The Doodlebug Design team welcomed us with open arms, there we were able to see for the first time their new collections and new products in their characteristic color palette, like these mini laces that we fell in love with from the first minute.

Without stopping visiting the rest of the exhibitors, we continue touring the fair in search of more friends. We met the guys from My Minds Eye who showed us the new collections for this year. In addition to their party line, which we will undoubtedly repeat, they offer us a beautiful and romantic collection for this spring, ideal for weddings.

In another booth we met Kelly from Lawn Fawn with a perfect acrylic stamp collection. We cannot resist bringing most of them, with their dies and inks.

Our friend Lindsay from Hazel & Ruby, was the joy of the pavilion, every time we met him he would throw a party. Such was the affection that on the last day we left there with a painting from the stand under our arms.

We also visit Maria, in Dress My Cupcake. To complete our party line, we are bringing more color in our tissue paper pom poms and new garlands.

The American Craft mega stand occupied half a pavilion, so big that we visited it for three consecutive days, and there we found new and very interesting things every day. We met Dear Lizzy, Maggie Holmes, Amy Tangerine… and we got to see their new collections for the first time.

All the brands that make up American Craft had new proposals for us, and we bring the most beautiful. From complete Scrap collections, to tools and templates for more special creations, thinking especially of weddings and other celebrations.

But without a doubt, one of our main objectives of this fair was to bring you the Simple Stories collections. We can't wait to receive them and show you how special everything they do is! Getting its distribution in Spain was a challenge and we have finally achieved it!!

In addition to all these visits to the brands we distribute, we had time to tour the fair, participate in different workshops, learn about new tools and keep up to date with the latest trends in crafts and DIY.

We also had time for leisure, but that is already another chapter of this adventure ;)…
