MARK PAGES TO GIFT TEACHERS - TUTORIAL
The end of classes is near and it is time to start preparing the little details for the teachers of our little ones.
Something nice to thank them for all the work and love they have had during this academic year and that they can enjoy during their vacations.
A book to be able to read on relaxing afternoons on the beach is a good option, and if we also add something made by us with the help of the little ones in the house, a sure hit!
The children will be very happy to be able to do it and the teacher will surely be very excited.
With these premises we have decided that making bookmarks using Lawn Fawn stamps is a great option.
The little ones can help in colouring, cutting and sticking the stamps!
The material you will need is:
- stamps
- inks
- something to color the stamps with
- your usual cut-and-paste materials
We are going to make some simple bookmarks where all the prominence is taken by the stamps.
STEP 1
Cut basic papers of 5 x 15 cm or 6 x 15 cm (depending on the width that we like the most).
Cut patterned paper half a centimeter smaller than the basic paper, that is, 4.5 x 14.5 cm or 5.5 x 14.5 cm. (according to the previously chosen width)
And we glue them making the base.

STEP 2
We print the chosen stamps on basic white paper and let the little ones color them to their liking.

STEP 3
Cut out the stamps and stick them on the base that we have created in STEP 1.

Here we can play with the dimensions to give the bookmark some volume. Although we must not overdo it, since we must not forget that it will go inside a book and it may be damaged.

To decorate them we have used googly eyes for the little martians, which children always love and are very funny.

And the feeling is the same for both, the phrases in the form of a WhatsApp conversation have triumphed.

STEP 4
With the help of the crop-a-dile we make a hole at the upper end, where we place an eyelet or eyelet to protect it, and finally we add a bow.

In the following video you can see how the crop-a-dile works:
This will be the part that remains on the outside of the book.

What do you think? Do you dare to have a fun time with the little ones preparing the teacher's gift?
If so, we'd love to see it!
