A Party... Practically Perfect!

We started the preparations for the most characteristic of this character, his hat. A craft cardboard top hat painted with a glossy black paint was enough so that, just decorating with daisies and cherries, it became the most magical hat in cinema of all time. This is the starting point of the party. Once the hat was made, we put it on and why not say it, we came up and we couldn't stop singing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious during all the preparations ;-) .

An old piece of furniture that we had painted yellow for another occasion was going to be the surface on which we would place our little sweet table. The background of it, we were clear, the London rooftops and the silhouette of our Perfect Nanny made with chalk were essential to create the ideal environment.

We used black cardboard to cut out roofs and chimneys and also make a poster with the silhouette of Mary Poppins and her bird-umbrella could not be missing. We accompany the decoration of this background with the Carnival fans

We made toppers with cutouts for cakes, tarts or to decorate containers.

We also use other party items such as bottles for soft drinks, straws that change color (there is nothing more magical!!), bags for sweets , popcorn.

We used paper to wrap the Cupcakes , with the DIY Party Board it was very simple. We had already used it at other parties and the truth is that it makes the preparation work much easier.

We loved giving this collection a nod, using a cutout from Practically Perfect to our tape measure. These little details add fun touches to the party that everyone likes.
