PAPER FLOWER LETTER AND TUTORIAL

Communions are a perfect celebration to make crafts and personalize them to the maximum... you can choose the theme, range of colors, the details you want to prepare: invitations, reminders, albums, signature book, centerpieces, sweet table,... You have a lot of projects to choose from.

Today we are going to focus on the background of the Sweet Table for which we have prepared a very beautiful and colorful cardboard letter, and made with little material.

To make the letter, you only need a piece of cardboard thick enough to support the weight of the flowers that we are going to glue to it, a pencil and scissors or a cutter .

We draw the letter on the cardboard and cut it out.

For the flowers, you will need textured cardboard of different colors, a pencil, a silicone gun, and scissors or a cutter .

We make the mold for the petals by folding a sheet of paper and drawing half of the petal, one larger and one smaller.

In this way we make sure that they are symmetrical.

As the cardboard is textured, we mark with a pencil on the back that it is smooth.

We have to grow four large petals and 4 small ones

We cut out and begin to shape them by curling the ends, winding them in a pen, pencil,... and even in our fingers. The same is done in all.

Then we cut in the center to approximately half, place one piece on top of the other (as it appears in the photograph) and glue with silicone. We also do the same in all.

Using a die- cut circle of the same color as a base, we begin to glue all the petals around it, leaving the shape of the flower.

We do the same with the small ones and paste inside the big ones.

To finish we glue another die-cut circle.

To make the center, cut a strip of cardboard of another color and fold it in half with the textured part inside.

We cut small strips as they appear in the photographs, leaving a small margin.

We turn it over leaving the textured part in sight and we fold along the part of the margin that we left before using a pen or pencil.

During the process, stick little by little so that it doesn't fall apart, we open it with our fingers and stick inside the flower.

We have gone crazy and we have done a lot!!, but they are sooooo beautiful and the colors are so happy that we have completely fallen in love with them.
