DISTRESS OXIDE INKS ARRIVE AT OH!NAIF
All Distress inks are designed to age paper and other common scrapbooking materials, which is why they are so loved by mix media and shabby lovers.
But this NEW RANGE has a special composition that makes its finish spectacular, and also allows you to use different techniques.
The base of DISTRESS OXIDE inks is composed of pigments and ink.
This allows you to work on dark surfaces such as Kraft or black and the color of the ink will still be seen because the pigments are opaque!
Thanks to this property you will be able to create MULTIPLE LAYERS, one on top of the other, without the colors mixing (be careful! to achieve this, the previous layer must be completely dry).
The finish achieved is chalky, and in addition, Distress Oxide inks react to water.
And this means? that once dry you get a beautiful rusty effect
We leave you with a video of its creator Tim Holtz's demo at Creativation 2017... no one better than him to put them into action and discover all their possibilities.
If you didn't know it yet... what do you think, do you dare to use them?
