HOME DECOR WITH EMERSON LANE
Emerson Lane is the latest collection by Heidi Swapp for American Crafts, where floral and geometric prints are mixed with pastel, mustard and navy blue colours. All these features make it a very elegant collection.
We were not very clear about the project that we were going to carry out with her, but the polar cold that has suddenly come to us and the warmth that her papers and decorations give us did not lead to the perfect project!!.
We decided to make a Layout without a photo that we later placed in one of the essential IKEA frames to be a decorative element in our home.
The first thing we did was select the paper and cut it to the size of the frame (in this case, 23 x 23 cm.)
In the mini album in the shape of a snow globe that we showed you last week, we used the Circle Spin and Trim for the first time and we loved it!
We wanted to repeat with this tool fromWRMK , so we cut a circle in the center of the paper.
We stick another one on the back to cover the circle and it's ready to start being decorated!!
Continuing with the sensations that the collection gave us and the sudden arrival of winter, the first thing that came to mind for the theme of the Layout was "Home, sweet home". Something that you saw and took you to calm and relaxed days at home.
And for this we opted to use the Sheet of Stickers and the alphabet
The title is set with the alphabet.
And the inside and outside of the circle with the stickers and labels, some of them glued with 3D Adhesive to play with the volumes.
We wrote the journaling with one of Kelly Creates pens around the edge of the circle.
To finish, and give it a little more volume and movement, we cut out different leaves from one of the papers and did the same with one of the stickers.
We were sticking them and introducing them inside the circle until we found the way we liked the most.
We also added some Doodlebug Design Sprinkles that gives them a nice touch, the pink dots are the Ladybug and the one with the green arrows the Limeade , which are also at an incredible price on the web!!
What do you think of our framework? Do you dare to make one?
