HOW TO USE THE BORDER DIE CUTTERS
A few days ago, one of our blog readers left us a comment where she asked us to explain how to use the Border die-cutters .
And we think it's a great idea, since many have just discovered the DIY world, and there are some things that they miss.
We hope that through these photographs we can explain it...
The first and basic thing, we need a border die-cutter and paper or cardboard that we want to die-cut.
Once we have chosen what we want, we begin to cut the cardboard.
You can start from any part of it, but until you get practiced, we recommend starting at one of the extremes.
We place the cardboard through the slot of the die-cutter and until it stops, once everything is ready, we die-cut it!!
And we would stay like this...
Now comes the most "complicated" part and where we make mistakes a few times until we get used to using them.
To continue punching the edge, we must place the cardboard in the slot until it stops (as we did before) but, we must pay attention to where to place it!!, we have to follow the drawing, as we do in the following photo...
If you look at the first photograph, three shapes appear die-cut, and in this photograph, we follow the drawing of the die-cutter , leaving one of the shapes "inside".
In this way, we follow the shapes and we do not have a space left without punching or some punchings are stepped on with others, which is one of the "mistakes" we make the most.
And we would stay like this...
Now we only have to continue punching the rest of the cardboard, paying attention to follow the shape of the drawing and leaving one of them in the "interior", until we achieve this...
As we always say, all this is practical and screw up a few times!!, so don't be discouraged if you don't get it right the first time because it has happened to us (and sometimes it still happens) to all of us!!!!
We hope we have helped you!!!
